Perfect Sunrise Engagement Photos at Kualoa Ranch

I met with Steve and Jasmine for their sunrise engagement photos at Kualoa Ranch. We opted for a sunrise session to get that beautiful glowy light that Hawaii has to offer. (As a photographer, it never gets old…) So, we took advantage of that early morning light and had a great time on both the land and in the water. They really were open to all the prompts and posing I threw their way, and embraced it fully – which makes for some amazing lifestyle images. It’s Hawaii, so why not incorporate some water shots into your engagement session, ya know?

I love getting in the water with my couples too. I may look like an absolute fool every time I climb in with my shoes on, but whatever you gotta do for the right shot! Plus I can’t step on a rock with my non-waterproof gear.

Steve and Jasmine really brought all the love and artistic flare. I grabbed a couple of double exposures before we left Kualoa for their sunrise session too. I love adding those to the gallery for some artistic variety. I had the best time with them and cannot wait for their big day in October!
