I had the prettiest Oahu sunrise session with the Chambers family. I must say that Oahu sunrises never disappoint, and spending the mornings with good company make them that much better.
We started at the Chambers family home, where their son played on the porch until we walked down the beach. The session started so organically and continued that way throughout the entire morning. They’re such a laid-back family, so it was easy to get photos of them just enjoying the moment together and sharing small special moments. After we walked down to the beach, we stopped at the beached sail boats, which always make for the prettiest beach photos. We’re so lucky to have art everywhere on the island, and these boats on the beach are nothing short of that.
The rest of the session was nice and easy, just hanging out and watching the sun come up. They even were up for running in the water a bit, which got some laughs out of their son, of course. All the laughs and smiles for them were worth the early morning on the beach. Plus, their view from their porch is the best of the best.
After getting done at the beach, we headed back to their place to say goodbye. Before I left, I wanted to make sure we highlighted their place a bit more. Their son played with his trucks, while we exchanged effortless small talk to end the morning. An Oahu sunrise session is one of the best ways to spend your morning, and I’m so lucky I get to do it all the time as a North Shore family photographer!
