At-Home Newborn Session | Oahu Lifestyle Photographer

An at-home newborn session is one of my favorite kinds of sessions!! They are truly personal, and provide a catalog of memories for that sweet babe to look back on. Their family gets to look back in life on this day, and these moments, for the rest of their lives. The L family was very welcoming when coming to their home, and showing me their newest addition. They also had a beautifully designed nursery, which was so fun to shoot in! This was a big ’30 year goggles’ kind of moment when photographing their newborn. Their sweet boy will get to look back on this day, and know what it looked like from this perspective. This is why sessions like these are so amazing.

We started with portraits of their baby. Then made sure to grab pictures with each parent – I love these personal kinds of moments. And then use their bedroom space for some new updated family photos. They had so much natural light in their house, which made it easy to place them for portraits. It’s amazing how much you can do with such a small space, you don’t need much. An at-home newborn session should be added to your future photo list! Let’s make some magic.
