Greetings from Oahu loves!! Oh, my heart. I thought I was going to get this blog post up hours ago, but then I realized I had starred like 300 images, and that would never load for you guys. So here is my attempt at slimming down this perfect June wedding day of Kristen + Ryan’s for you all to enjoy. This day was like the exact temperature you want a day to be. The details + style were out of control. The bridal party was fun, excited + happy to be watching these babes get married and their families just could not stop smiling! And Ryan + Kristin you ask – they were calm yet filled with anxious nerves to finally share their vows. They were grateful all day. They made photographing them flawlessly easy and were so wonderfully sweet in trusting us to execute our vision for them + their day. It was just the best day – packed with all the happy love!!! You will want to get married again and have it look just like this one when you are done with this blog post…
These details! When Mom cannot make eye contact because she doesn’t want to risk that makeup to start running with her happy tears 🙂 First looks with Dad + brother : ) And the bridesmaids – all amazing! And because I cannot narrow it down… a sequence of Kristen + the Sofitel killing it for bridal portraits. Having a spot like this – covered in light – to get ready in, and be photographed in is food for my photographer soul, and a great decision on your part! Gettin to that chapel on time… Holy Name – is just remarkable. What a spot to share your vows! Marrrrrried! Time to make it down the longest aisle in Chicago! HEART EYES. Love you two 🙂When your bridal party totally brings their A game. Killin that groom look.Babes!I mean what.Y’all killed it.
A few words from the newlyweds…
Would you have done anything differently?:
Absolutely nothing! Except maybe eat the cake! Ryan and I didn’t even realize it until we were on our honeymoon, but neither of us tried the cake! Too busy dancing! 🙂
Favorite moment from your day?:
It is so hard to pick just one! I would say looking back that the best part of the day was the actual wedding ceremony. It was amazing the amount of love we could feel in the church and just knowing we had all of our closest family and friends supporting us and being there with us!
Any tips or tricks for future couples planning their weddings?:
Do not let wedding planning get the best of you! Everything goes by so quickly and it will be over before you know it. Have fun with it and don’t sweat the small stuff!
