Pearl City Backyard Celebration | Oahu Wedding Photographer

I couldn’t wait to share Kali and Kurt’s intimate Pearl City backyard celebration! Their day took place at their new house, and the planning process was only a few shorts months because they were so eager to marry one another!

It was such a treat to get to capture the sweet intimacies of their vows that they each wrote. They were surrounded by their nearest and dearest in the safety of their home. It was genuine, sweet, simple, and pup friendly. Their dogs wore the cutest pup tuxedos and enjoyed the ceremony as guests! They had a private moment after the ceremony, which I recommend to all my couples. Sometimes we get caught up in the timeline of the day and forget what this day is actually about. Don’t stray away from private moments with your partner on this special day!

After their Pearl City backyard celebration, we walked around their neighborhood to snap a few creative portraits. It was such a creative and personal way to capture their portraits in their new neighborhood! Kali wore a beautiful haku lei and Kurt wore a traditional maile lei.
