Sitting outside right now on the patio taking in a Kailua sunrise as I reminisce with myself about John + Vicki’s glamorous winter wedding. The details were impeccable, the bride + groom were straight out of a movie, the food was delicious, and the laughter was boisterously heard all day, from miles around.

This was a glamorously fun wedding – packed full of touches that were just so John + Vicki. And if you have been an active reader here for some time, then you know that I cannot get enough of my awesome couples and how they tailor their days so that their personalities shine through : ) We all started the day at the incredible Thompson Chicago before we were off to the ceremony!

I mean these details?! And Vicki’s ombre pink veil was like the beeeeest. Rough way to spend your morning huh?! Oh these two. Straight up stole my heart. YESSSSSSSSS. Sometimes I hit the shutter on my camera and am all “nailed it” – this was one of those times. …this was another one of those times. But this babe makes it easy! Ohhhhhh heeeeeey – we married! How elegant is this crew?! Babes. You two make my heart happy. Like seriously contagious laughter. I feel like this was supposed to be like “Groom looking over at his bride” but was more likely “Groom hears dog” : ) Okay – okay – so like run at me. #nailedit You know – I think we really brought our Disney meets Chicago meets glam fairy tale A-Game on this one team. High fives all around. PURE JOY. A few words from the newlyweds….

Would you have done anything differently? We wouldn’t change a thing about the day! … well maybe we would have ate some of our late night snacks 🙂

Favorite moment from your day? When we shared a secret fist dance In another room while everyone ate dinner. The piano player started to play a Disney melody and we couldn’t help ourselves! It was the one thing we did not plan and it ended up being something we will never forget.

Any tips or tricks for future couples: Remember it’s YOUR wedding! Plan for you as a couple, do, wear, eat, and dance to whatever makes you happy! This once-in-a-lifetime day goes by too quickly, so enjoy it!
